//My Useful Useless Degree//

You may or may not know that I am the proud holder of a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. This degree which qualifies me for no specific job has provided me with an amazing background of information which I’ve drawn from at every job I’ve had to date. It has been especially helpful in the arena of church planting, & worship/innovation pastoring. As a Musical Theatre major I learned a smattering of skills from lighting design, directing, set design, production, promotion, and even character development. These skills have proven to be very useful tools to have as a pastor at Remedy Church.

I am thankful that Abba led me to pursue this degree. I am thankful that the people of the great state of Oklahoma value the arts, and that S.O.S.U. decided to full-ride scholarship me as a Musical Theatre major. I love the experiences I had as a vocalist, and actress at S.O.S.U. and the Oklahoma Shakespearian Festival. I am proud of my history in music & theatre arts. Getting my B.A. in Musical Theatre was a stinkin’ load of fun!
